DeEarnest McLemore, CEO and Founder, is a consultant in the field of arts education and cultural enrichment. He founded a.r.i.s.e. after 25-years of managing a multi-discipline arts facility which annually provided programming to over 25,000 participants of all ages, backgrounds, interests and skill levels. He managed the creative process utilizing a list of more than 60 professional artists, craftsmen, educators and other professionals that were independent contractors whose function was to teach classes and workshops, provide lectures and hands-on interactive experiences and other related services. That list of artists included Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist and creator of internationally syndicated comic strip Mother Goose and Grimm, Mike Peters, also nationally known artist and educator Willis " Bing" Davis, and bestselling author and artist Nita Leland. Mr. McLemore directed operations that attracted thousands of people to Riverbend Art Center, The Dayton Playhouse, The Dayton Cultural and RTA Transit Center, Bomberger Teen Center, and up to 20 fulltime and part-time employees and summer seasonal staff.   Mr. McLemore established an award winning after-school arts program, created a youth video and film production program, managed an art camp and summer teen employment program, created and managed a business conference offered to professionals: artists and craftspeople, arts administrators and gallery owners. He was responsible for a gallery that hosted monthly exhibitions, an arts curriculum of over 60 classes offered to adults, youth, at-risk population, the mentally and physically challenged, and to other groups with a student body at any given time representing over 40 area cities.     He has served on Boards & Committee's nationally and in the Dayton and Columbus, Ohio area, including The Society for the Arts in Healthcare, Culture Works Community Arts Network, the Riverbend Arts Council, and has worked with various arts servicing organizations. Mr. McLemore has an undergraduate degree in advertising design and graduate degree in administration.
